1. What Uncloud Is

Uncloud is a self-reflection journaling tool powered by AI. It helps you write, understand patterns in your thinking, and connect your writing to personal goals.

Uncloud is not a mental health treatment, therapy service, clinical diagnosis tool, or medical device. It is a personal productivity and self-awareness tool only. See our Mental Health Disclaimer for important details.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Uncloud. If you are under 18, you represent that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate information (name, email) when creating your account
• Keeping your account credentials secure
• All activity that occurs under your account

We use passwordless authentication (magic links sent to your email). Keep your email account secure.

4. Your Content & Ownership

You own your journal entries. Everything you write in Uncloud belongs to you. We do not claim ownership of your content.

By using Uncloud, you grant us a limited license to:

• Store and transmit your entries to provide the service
• Send your entries to OpenAI's API to generate AI insights on your behalf
• Display your entries and insights back to you within the app

This license is solely for operating the service. We will never use your journal entries for marketing or sell them to third parties.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Uncloud for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute Uncloud's software or content
• Submit content that violates others' intellectual property rights
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or decompile the application

6. AI-Generated Insights

Uncloud uses AI to generate reflections on your journal entries. By using this feature, you acknowledge:

• AI insights are generated automatically and may contain errors or inaccuracies
• Insights are not professional advice (psychological, medical, legal, or financial)
• You should not make significant life decisions based solely on AI-generated content
• AI outputs reflect patterns in your writing, not clinical assessments

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Uncloud is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app
• Our total liability to you for any claims related to these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim (or $10 if you have not paid us)

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability — in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Mental Health and Crisis Situations

Uncloud is not designed to respond to mental health crises. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please contact emergency services or a crisis helpline immediately. See our Mental Health Disclaimer for crisis resources.

9. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience downtime. We are not liable for any inconvenience or loss due to service unavailability.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@uncloud.polsia.app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with JAMS Streamlined Arbitration Rules.
